There are no English requirements to take the course. But in applying for your medical registration with AHPRA,the medical board requires a certain standard for the International Medical Graduate English Skills.
The following tests of English Language skills are accepted by the medical board for the purpose of meeting this standard:
a. The IELTS (International English Language Test System) examination (academic module) with a minimum score of 7 in each of the four components or
b. Completion and an overall pass in the OET (Occupational English Test) with grades A or B only in each of the four components or
c. Successful completion of NZREX (New Zealand Registration Exam) or
d. Successful completion of PLAB (Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board) test
